NOTE: All our products are handmade with plant based materials that are 100% biodegradable. Every batch might be slightly different than the next. Although we try to be very strict with our quality control, some defects might go unnoticed and could make it through to the consumer. Please email us regarding any concerns you might have regarding issues such as layer separation, boils, or pin holes in the product. To extend the life of our products, store them in a Ziploc bag with some baby powder or our silicone spray. Please also note that if you leave or forget your gloves under sunlight they will begin to decompose rapidly. 

What are the gloves made from?
Natural Latex rubber with a fine cotton flock surface. If you have latex allergies you won't be able use this product.

Is there an alternative to the latex gloves?
Not at this time.

How thick or what mil are Darkfin Gloves?
Darkfins were made to be lightweight and flexible so they are just under a mil thickness and good in temps as low as about 50F degrees. 

Are there other colors than black?
Not at this time.

Will water come in through the cuffs?
Sizing is important for Darkfins to perform best, if you have thin wrists we suggest you use some of our Darkfin Bandz on the wrist to stop water from going in the glove. 

Why is there powder inside my brand new gloves?
To ease putting them on dry. You can re-powder them after use if you like after they are completely dry. You can also use our silicone lubricant spray, which also protects the glove. Putting them on in water is the easiest way.

How much is shipping and what is transit times?
The Shipping calculator will work for most countries but has a higher accuracy for the US & Canada, AU, NZ, JP and EU. Transit times for US are 2-5 days, 5-10 days for Canada and 10-14 days for all other international countries. PLEASE NOTE: In some cases in can take up to 45 days to arrive in some countries. We ship most orders within 24 hours (Mon-Fri) and you will receive an email when it ships. Priority and Express shipping options are also available upon checkout.

What is your refund policy?
You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

If the item has been opened shipping costs will not be refunded.

You should expect to receive a refund within four weeks of return shipment to us, however, in many cases you should receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please contact us at customerservice@darkfingloves.com with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

How do I return my products for a refund?
This is one of the most frequently asked questions. If you are inside the US or Canada simply send the gloves back to the address on the envelope or listed below along with a note that you would like to exchange. The first exchange is free.
If you live outside the US or Canada unfortunately you will have to pay to re-ship at whatever cost it was to be sent to you when you ordered. We can simply charge the credit card you originally ordered with. Tip: If you are unsure of sizing when you place your order, you could order 2 sizes if you are conflicted about which one to get. Then you can send back the pair you do not need for a refund.

How do you ship?

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Can I mail in my order?
If you prefer not to shop online, you can send us a check or money order for the total which will need to include shipping. To get a shipping quote you must place the item(s) you want in your cart as if you were going to place an order, then proceed to checkout. On the checkout page you will see a box that says" Estimate Shipping and Tax" and you can enter your state and zip code to determine your costs. Sorry, but we cannot accept international checks or money orders and will return them if received.

You must also determine your size using the size charts online or you can even trace your hand on a standard piece of paper and include it with your check or money order. Send to:
